SOFAVI Implements the “3-on-site” Model – Maintaining Efficient Production During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Amid the complex developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to both maintain production efficiency and ensure the health and safety of all employees working at the plant, SOFAVI’s Board of Directors promptly implemented and effectively executed the “3-on-site” model (on-site production, on-site isolation, and on-site accommodation). This was carried out in strict compliance with government regulations on pandemic prevention and control.

During the fourth wave of the COVID-19 outbreak in Vietnam, the economy was significantly impacted, causing numerous difficulties for domestic enterprises. In such challenging circumstances, in order to turn “risks” into “opportunities,” the Board of Directors of SOFAVI implemented a range of flexible solutions to achieve the dual objectives of maintaining business and production operations while ensuring effective pandemic prevention and safety.

SOFAVI strictly complied with directives from the Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Committee by arranging on-site accommodation, meals, and working conditions for all employees. The factory also established strict safety barriers to limit external contact. All incoming raw materials and outgoing Sorbitol products were thoroughly disinfected before entering or leaving the facility. Daily personal necessities for employees were fully provided by the Company, as any external items could pose a risk of virus transmission during transport.

In addition, SOFAVI regularly conducted testing and required all employees to submit daily health declarations to the HR department and via the Ministry of Health’s electronic health applications.

At the same time, SOFAVI rigorously followed the Ministry of Health’s “5K” guidelines. All employees working at the factory were fully equipped with personal protective equipment such as hand sanitizers, masks, and gloves, and were provided with clear instructions to ensure safety in both work and daily activities. To support employees’ well-being, the Company also provided full daily meals, coffee, milk, and created opportunities for relaxation after working hours and on weekends.
